August 2013

10 Months Old!
Our family seemed to get sick way too much this summer.  Poor little boy didn't feel well today and was running a slight fever so he spent the day kicked back in a bean bag, watching a movie with a bowl of baby snacks :)
Kent's first parade at the Highland Fling.  He was fascinated by the candy when it was thrown, but then someone threw a pencil.  He dropped all the candy and went for the pencil.
Reading Winnie the Pooh with Nanny and Papa on a Sunday evening.
We spent the night at Grandma Nancy and Papa's house one night.  Kent absolutely loved exploring their house and enjoying all of the fun toys.
Playing with Uncle Joseph
Kent took his first steps this month on August 19th at 10.5 months!
Visiting Emily at school to watch her drill team perform.  Kent was so excited and loved it!
We spent an afternoon with Jordan's cousins Craig and Arianna and Landon and Alisha.  The boys went to a knife shop and Cabellas while the girls and the baby boys went shopping at the Lehi outlets.
Kent and Krue playing in an igloo at Cabellas

cheesy smile :)
We spent a day this month at the Tracy Aviary, just me and Kent.  Afterwards we got Jordan from work to have lunch with him.  I loved getting to spend the day with my boys.
Kent feeding the ducks.  This was one of his favorite activities of the day.  He actually said, "duck" for the first time too.

A day at Seven Peaks with my family and some cousins.  Half way through the evening Kent had a little accident in the kiddie area and ended up with this huge bandaid on his head! He is such a cutie though, and didn't let it ruin his night.  We all had a lot of fun playing in the water and on the slides.
At the end of the month, Jordan was finished with his internship and we took off to spend some time in California before school starts.
Taking a break from the 10 hour drive at the Caesar Palace Mall in Las Vegas

Finally at Grandma and Grandpas! Enjoying his own personal splash pad on their back patio
