This month while Jordan was at a rugby tournament in Boise, Kent and I made a trip down to Utah together. We went down the weekend of St Patrick's day so that we could make it for my best friend, Josie's, mission farewell. I was so glad we got to see her one more time before she left to serve in the Germany, Berlin mission for 18 months. While in Utah we also got to spend time with a lot of other family and friends. We stopped in Ogden on our way down so that Kent could spend some time with Grandma Nancy and Papa Russell.
I loved getting to see my siblings and Kent enjoyed a lot of attention from Grandparents, Aunts, and his Uncle Ty. While in Utah, we also got a surprise visit from Jordan's family- Grandpa, uncle Michael, and Aunt Shelby.
Kent had a lot of fun in his new hand-me-down jumper from uncle Tyler. We also loved getting to bring it home with us to help entertain the little boy during finals week.
This month Kent starting sitting on his own.
We also discovered the fun of being in a laundry basket. He became a great helper while I folded the clean clothes and he was even able to sit in the tub on his own with the help of the laundry basket :)
Kent played with his friend, Nolan, for the first time. We met the Meyers when we were dating because Jordan and David were roommates just before we each got engaged. David and Henna moved into our married student ward and had a little boy, Nolan, just about a week after Kent was born.
Kent had his first spoon-fed meal this month. At first he was unsure, but after a while he really warmed up and has come to love food!
We finished the month with another trip to Utah where we got to spend a couple days up at Brighton ski resort with the Price side. Jordan and I enjoyed a little skiing while Kent got to spend a lot of time with Grandma Suzie. That Sunday we enjoyed celebrating Easter with my parents. Kent got the movie Peter Pan, some Gerber baby biscuits, and bath toys in his Avengers bucket.
