After our honeymoon we stayed in California for about 3 weeks before it was time to head back to school. Our first week there my parents and younger siblings came in town for our openhouse. Some of Jordan's aunts came down too to help out with more wedding stuff while Jordan and I just continued to vacation.
We went to knottsberry farm and the San Diego zoo with my parents, and Jordan's family took my whole family to the beach for some swimming and beach cruising.

| Having both of these two at the zoo was a new experience. This was a frequent occurance throughout the day...Jordan and Dad would strategically plan our best route around the zoo while mom and I just followed. Aren't they cute with their maps and sunglasses?...true zoo tourists. |

Jordan did work a little bit while we were in CA while I toured model homes and shopped with his mom while spending every other minute finishing up my big summer homework projects.
We did still find a few more days in there for vacation...

Our last weekend there was also Labor Day weekend and my mother-in-law's birthday, so we headed up the coast with Jordan's family to San Simeon, where we visited a small Dutch town, toured Hurst's Castle, and enjoyed many shops and beaches along the Central California Coast.
